It’s a sea cucumber from the Great Barrier Reef, QLD!

In my 3rd year as a University of Western Ontario student, I had the pleasure to complete my year overseas in Australia. I wholeheartedly give credit for my never-ending wanderlust to my experience in Australia.

Free trip to Australia? Sure, I’ll take it!

Through a partnership between Tourism Australia and CampusPerks, I competed for the titled of Tourism Australia’s Travel Blogger. Through my strong social media networks and ability to share my passion about travelling to my followers, I ended up winning. I ended up placing 1st against the 9 other finalists and was awarded the top prize of a 17-day blogging trip to Australia this past June 2013.  My responsibilities while away were to report back on the current events surrounding the “Best Jobs” campaign on my various social media networks, as well as take in some of Australia’s most captivating attractions.

Want to know what I and the “Best Jobs” finalists got up in Australia? Well look no further! — Tourism Australia’s Best Jobs Contest 2013.

Do you prefer pictures? Well I have plenty! Check out some of the photos I took prior to covering the “Best Jobs” contest in Sydney, Cairns, Brisbane, and Melbourne!
